Tropicana’s Entertainment Lineup Heats Up


Tropicana Casino and Resort sets the stage for a fun-filled summer with a jam packed calendar featuring everything from comedy, rock and funk to martinis and mixed martial arts. The summer entertainment season delivers MORE fun, MORE value and MORE variety with a dozen must-see events scheduled May 2 through August 24, 2015.

FREE MULTIMEDIA LIGHT & SOUND SHOW – Daily Starting May 22 This May, Tropicana Casino and Resort will unveil a stunning new Multimedia Light and Sound Show that crosses both sides of the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The groundbreaking display immerses spectators in a world of sound, light, imagery and special effects. This breathtaking combination of artistry and technology will stir the imagination and excite the senses. A ten minute fireworks display by Grucci will immediately follow the Multimedia Light and Sound Show on May 22 and May 23.


Tropicana Casino and Resort will celebrate America’s favorite cocktail with Martini Week, a resort-wide festival featuring drink specials, shopping discounts and themed events. Nominated, six times for an American Comedy Award, Dom Irrera’s stand-up material was honed in a multi-generational Italian household in South Philadelphia. When Dom Irrera takes the stage, he does not simply get on it, he owns it! In celebration of a 45 year milestone, Grand Funk Railroad is coming to your town to help you party down. Legendary world kickboxing champion, Lou Neglia, brings his premier mixed martial arts promotion back to Tropicana with its 51st installment at 8 p.m. This must-see event features five title fights live at Tropicana. Tropicana will present cult favorites Dan Finnerty and THE DAN BAND in a live performance at 8 p.m. THE DAN BAND got its start as a drunken joke, with Finnerty singing “I Am Woman” at a karaoke bar. The band has since spiraled into a music phenomenon garnering rave reviews from the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Daily Variety and Premiere magazine.
