Tropicana Teams with Gallo Wines for Score a Cure Program

Wine sales benefit Team LeGrand of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to score victories over paralysis

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (April 27, 2016) – Wine lovers are invited to raise a glass for a great cause at Tropicana Atlantic City. In partnership with Gallo Wines, Tropicana is participating in the Score a Cure Program, which supports Team LeGrand and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation in raising funds for paralysis research.

Eric LeGrand was a standout football player for Rutgers University when he suffered a severe spinal injury during a game that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Since that devastating event, his tremendous courage, belief and strength has been an inspiration to millions.

Humbled by the outpouring of support from around the nation, LeGrand formed his own charity.Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation raises proceeds to find a cure for paralysis and help improve the quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries.

Throughout the month of June, a portion of purchases of William Hill Chardonnay and William Hill Cabernet will benefit the mission of Team LeGrand. The wines will be offered by the glass for $10 or by the bottle for $36 at Tango’s Lounge and Il Verdi at Tropicana Atlantic City.

“We are pleased to once again team with Gallo Wines for this important fundraising program,” said Steve Callender, General Manager for Tropicana Atlantic City. “Cures and treatments for paralysis are within reach and this is an exciting way to support a very worthy cause.”
