Tropicana Presents Aaron Lewis Feb 12

Tropicana Presents Aaron Lewis, February 12

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (November 4, 2015) – On Friday, February 12, 2016, multi-platinum singer, songwriter and guitarist Aaron Lewis will take his concert tour to Tropicana for a 9 p.m. performance in the Tropicana Showroom. Doors open at 8 p.m.

After making an indelible mark on the world of hard rock, Aaron Lewis thrilled traditional country music fans in 2001 with his debut solo EP Town Line. Highlighted by the success of gold-selling single “Country Boy,” the seven-song EP reached #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release.

“Life is circular. Country just came back to me. This is full circle because this was the first music I was ever exposed to as a child,” Lewis said. Lewis is one of only a handful of contemporary artists in today’s era of mainstream country whose music is rooted in the classic country of Merle Haggard, George Jones or other artists of the 1960s and 1970s.

In 2012, Lewis released his first full-length album, The Road. The album’s ten songs unfold with a classic grit and an invigorating energy all directly from Lewis’s heart and soul. Lewis personally penned all of the songs on The Road but one. Through his concert tour, he is carrying on a tradition of storytelling through music.

“It’s good old-fashioned traditional country – something that I feel like the country genre needs desperately,” Lewis said. Tickets to see Aaron Lewis at Tropicana are $55, $60, and $70.  Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or via phone at 1.800.745.3000, or at the Tropicana Box Office.
