Tropicana Announces FREE HippieFest Concert Featuring Mark Diomede & The Juggling Suns Project, September 24

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (August 31, 2016) — Celebrate one of the greatest eras in rock and roll history with a free concert at Tropicana Atlantic City. Mark Diomede & The Juggling Suns Project will present a FREE concert– “A Tribute to the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd & More!” on Saturday, September 24, 2016, in the Grand Exhibition Center. Show time is at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7:30 p.m. On the night of the show, be sure to check out Jen Scott from the Jen Scott Show on Kool 98.3 doing a live radio remote from 8:00-9:30 p.m.

Music fans will not want to miss the chance to soak in the groovy vibes as Mark and his band pay tribute to the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and other ’60s bands in this free fall concert event. Some of the band’s popular covers include “A Horse with No Name,” “Ziggy Stardust,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” “Higher Ground,” “I Second that Emotion,” “Love the One You’re With” and “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.”

“Originals take a new turn, new tunes are always being played, and classic rock covers take on a life of their own,” Diomede said. “Come on out and see what it’s all about!”

Juggling Suns music has spanned the course of 32 years and counting, evolving from Solar Circus in 1984, the inception of Juggling Suns in 1997, and the recent formation of The Juggling Suns Project. Ever evolving, The Juggling Suns Project represents all incarnations of the music, with guests that include new players and friends who have played the music over the years. Concert attendees must be 21 or older.
