On Tap at Tropicana: Sam Adams versus Brooklyn Brewery Beer Dinner

This delicious battle of the brews pits Boston against New York on September 23

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (September 2, 2014) — This September, the Boston-New York rivalry will extend beyond baseball, football and hockey. Beer fans can decide who wins the battle of the brews at the Sam Adams versus Brooklyn Brewery Beer Dinner, taking place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at FIN inside Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City.

This celebratory evening for beer lovers includes a five-course gourmet dinner prepared by the chefs of FIN. In a good-natured showdown, each course will be paired with a beer from two of the East Coast’s most beloved craft brewers: Boston-based Samuel Adams and New York-based Brooklyn Brewery. The award-winning roster of beers will include year-round, seasonal and specialty brews.

Throughout the dinner, guests will enjoy entertaining tips and stories from three engaging insiders from each region’s beer industry: Miles Moser, brand manager at Brooklyn Brewery; Kirk LaVecchia of Kramer Beverage Company, who gained beer fame as a winner of Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp and co-creator of the “Alternate Ending” brew; and Gary Monterosso, author of “Artisan Beer,” “101 Great Session Beers (And More),” and host of the webcast, “Still Crazy After all These Beers.”

At the conclusion of the dinner, guests will be invited to enjoy cigars on FIN’s outdoor balcony. The Sam Adams versus Brooklyn Brewery Beer Dinner is an event for those 21 and older. Tickets are $75 per person, which includes tax and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased at www.Ticketmaster.com or via the Tropicana Box Office.
