At Last: Gladys Knight Returns to Tropicana Showroom

 

Seven-time Grammy winner takes the stage November 11

 

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (June 19, 2017) – In the music world, it’s the great ones who endure.  Gladys Knight has long been considered one of the greatest. Be a part of the magic when “The Empress of Soul” takes the stage at Tropicana Atlantic City for one incredible performance: Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

All told, Gladys Knight has recorded more than 38 albums over the years. She is best known for well-loved ballads including “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Heard It through the Grapevine,” “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye),” and her stirring rendition of the Etta James classic “At Last.”

A tireless performer who still wows audiences around the country and the world, Gladys Knight also finds the time to make forays into film and television.  Gladys returned to the screen in 2014 in the Lifetime original movie “Seasons of Love” alongside Oscar-nominee Taraji P. Henson and fellow Grammy winner Cliff “Method Man” Smith.  2014 also brought Gladys to television screens on FOX TV’s hit show series “Empire” opposite Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson.
