Fireworks, Sister Sledge & 20 Places to Celebrate All Under One Roof
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Nov. 29, 2017) – Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Tropicana Atlantic City with the free New Year’s Eve Fireworks display on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, a live performance by Grammy-nominated female group Sister Sledge, and 20 dining and nightlife venues under one roof to eat, drink and dance the night away.
CELEBRATE WITH FIREWORKS – 9 p.m.
Ring in the new year with a bang as Tropicana Atlantic City’s free New Year’s Eve Fireworks display lights up the skies over Atlantic City’s famous beach and Boardwalk at 9 p.m. Fireworks by Grucci will be producing the 10-minute show. The sixth generation, family-owned company is famous for their pyrotechnic artistry and scientific innovation. The Gruccis have been transforming the night skies to the delight of millions across the globe since 1850.
“Our guests were thrilled when we introduced a free fireworks display to the mix of New Year’s Eve offerings,” said Steve Callender, General Manager, Tropicana Atlantic City. “We’re bringing it back for a second year at an earlier, more family-friendly time — 9 p.m.”
SISTER SLEDGE LIVE IN CONCERT – 9:30 p.m.
The celebration moves indoors with a live performance by Philadelphia’s iconic female group, Sister Sledge, known for their hits “We Are Family,” “Lost in Music” and “Thinking of You.” The event is taking place in the Tropicana Showroom at 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. To purchase tickets in advance visit Ticketmaster.com or the Tropicana Box Office.
NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTIES – All night long

Ring in the New Year with the star-studded Boogie Nights cast and their famous Michael Jackson impersonator. Kiss 2017 goodbye at Ivan Kane’s Kiss Kiss Nightclub, a unique burlesque-themed nightlife experience. The $35 cover charge includes a balloon drop, complimentary party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.

At midnight, Cuba Libre will turn into a mega dance hall with live viewing of the countdown and Ball Drop in Times Square, complimentary party favors, and two rooms to party – DJ B3Bo spinning Latin fusion, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata on the main floor and DJ Swoosh spinning today’s top club hits on the second floor at Missile Bar.
