Creedence Clearwater Revisited Returns to Tropicana Atlantic City

Band brings back Creedence Clearwater Revival hits August 5

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (April 12, 2016) — The big wheel keeps on turning as Creedence Clearwater Revisited brings a roster of rebellious swamp rock hits to Tropicana Atlantic City for a live performance at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2016.

After Creedence Clearwater Revival disbanded in 1972, drummer Doug “Cosmo” Clifford and bass player Stu Cook – who had played together since junior high – remained close. They formed a joint production company before heading off for separate musical projects. In 1995, they realized they both missed playing live Creedence music that had been lying dormant for too long. So Doug and Stu put together their own band, offering music fans the chance once again to hear live performances of some of the best American rock ever written and recorded.

Since then, the reaction to Creedence Clearwater Revisited’s concerts has been astounding. Their new lineup includes John Tristao as lead singer/rhythm guitarist, Kurt Griffey as lead guitarist, and talented multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited has toured North America, South America, New Zealand, Europe and Asia, knocking out audiences with amazing concerts jam packed with songs like “Susie Q,” “Proud Mary,” “Down on the Corner,” “Fortunate Son” and “Who’ll Stop the Rain.” that are still a staple of radio and movie soundtracks.

Tickets are $49.50, $55 and $65, subject to tax and fees. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or via phone at 1.800.736.1420, or at the Tropicana Box Office.
