ATLANTIC CITY (June 2, 2016)– No one does disco better than Boogie Nights at Tropicana Atlantic City. Now, for the first time ever, the ultimate 70s and 80s dance club is hosting a “Disco Dance Hour” on Friday, June 17th from 9pm to 10pm to teach its most dedicated disco-ers how to boogie… professionally. For one night only, Boogie Nights is bringing in local dance instructor extraordinaire Joey G from JSTAR Company to teach The Hustle, The Electric Slide and more to everyone who wants to learn.

“Boogie Nights has always put its loyal customer base first. We started noticing that we have this core group of people coming in at 9:00 Friday nights specifically to hear disco music and dance the hustle and other popular disco dances. Why not dedicate our first hour to classic retro dances?” says Dave Pena, creator of Boogie Nights. “When we came across dance instructor Joey G, it made perfect sense to bring him in to lead a Disco Dance Hour.”

Joey G is a versatile dancer who has performed on all of the casino stages in Atlantic City. One of the original, nationally-ranked hustle dancers, he continues to choreograph, perform and teach all types of dance. He has worked professionally with Dean Martin, Rita Moreno, Debbie Reynolds, Rip Taylor, Merv Griffin, Jerry Van Dyke, Phyllis Diller and many more celebrities during his years on the casino circuit. Recently, he represented the city of Philadelphia on “Dance Fever” and continues to perform, compete, judge and teach workshops at DISCOAMERICA, the longest running disco competition in the USA.

The “Disco Dance Hour” will take place on Friday, June 17th from 9pm to 10pm at  Boogie Nights, the Ultimate 70s and 80s dance club at Tropicana Atlantic City. Admission is $5 which includes a one hour dance session as well as admission to the club for the entire evening. Must be at least 21.
