Bacon Week is Back at Tropicana Atlantic City
Resort-wide celebration returns January 17 – 23
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (December 14, 2015) — Atlantic City’s premier bacon event is back by popular demand. Indulge in unique bacon dishes including bacon cocktails, desserts, and more. Bite into a super one pound BLT, savor a bacon ice cream sundae, or even drink your bacon in a Bacon Maple Manhattan. We’re serving up bacon every which way during Bacon Week January 17 through January 23, 2016.

Broadway Burger Bar – Tropicana’s popular burger joint will offer two tasty ways to raise a glass. Try the Bacon Cinnamon Roll cocktail, made with bacon-infused vodka, crème de cocoa, chocolate liquor and cream. Or keep it simple and savor the unique flavor combination of bacon-infused bourbon.
Carmine’s – The week’s featured ingredient adds a smoky complexity to the classic Manhattan in Carmine’s Bacon Maple Manhattan for $13.50.
FIN- We bet James Bond would be shaken and stirred by this Chocolate Caramel Bacon Martini for $12.
Il Verdi – Your taste buds will spin with this fun twist on a classic favorite, a Chocolate Bacon Martini for $12.

Broadway Burger Bar – Taste the Chocolate-Covered Bacon Caramel Sundae at the Burger Bar and you’ll understand why fans have dubbed bacon “meat candy.”
Casa Taco & Tequila Bar – Casa Taco is firing up the flavor of dessert with their Bacon Wrapped Sweet Plantain. Offered at $7, this tempting treat features a ripe plantain wrapped in bacon and topped with sweet dolce de leche sauce.
FIN and Il Verdi – For an eruption of delicious flavor, order the Chocolate Bacon Lava Cake with vanilla gelato for $8.
Rí Rá Irish Pub – A $6 Chocolate-Covered Bacon Sundae with bacon salted caramel sauce will make any Bacon Week experience a sweet one.

The Bar at FIN – Slide into a seat and treat your taste buds to a $12 order of BBQ Bacon Burger Sliders topped with cheddar cheese and stout caramelized onions, served with truffle and white cheddar fries.
Broadway Burger Bar – When it comes to serving up tasty meat masterpieces, the folks at Broadway Burger Bar know what they are doing. Enjoy bacon in its purest form when you try the Assorted Seasoned Bacon Strips, served in a shot glass.
Carmine’s – Carmine’s is serving up bacon in the way they know best – family style! Try the Classic Carbonara ($30.50) blending pasta with eggs, cheese, bacon and black pepper to create a luscious and satisfying plate. Carmine’s Pomodoro ($29.50) is a fresh plum tomato sauce made to order with white wine, tomatoes, garlic, prosciutto, and herbs over your choice of pasta. Or try the Saltimbocca featuring chicken ($33.50) or veal ($39.50) pounded thin and covered with prosciutto, sage butter, and mozzarella in spinach and thickened marsala sauce.
Casa Taco & Tequila Bar – Your taste buds will be popping once you’ve tried the Bacon Poppers at Casa Taco, featuring five jalapeno peppers filled with bacon, cream cheese and cheddar cheese, served with chipotle ranch for $9.00. Casa’s Bacon Wrapped Atlantic Salmon dish is priced at just $24, and features a salmon fillet wrapped in bacon and served with coconut rice, arugula salad and Vidalia onion cream sauce.
Chickie’s & Pete’s – Everyone’s favorite crab house and sports bar offers two tasty specials for Bacon Week. The first is the Bacon Blue Sriracha Salad, a mixed green salad with tomatoes, red onions, carrots, bacon, and blue cheese crumbles with a bacon sriracha vinaigrette for $12.95. The second is the Bacon Blue Burger, a half-pound burger with bacon, sliced American cheese, and barbecue sauce on a brioche bun for $9.95.
Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar – Más bacon, por favor! Cuba Libre will offer a special Pork Belly Slider with grilled Berkshire pork belly, crispy bacon and chipotle-onion marmalade. Served on a sesame brioche roll with vigorón slaw for just $5.
FIN – Even seafood gets the bacon treatment at Fin with Bacon Little Neck Clams steamed in Flying Fish Beer and natural juices with Neuske’s smoked bacon, garlic, crushed red pepper and fresh parsley for $14. Pepper Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with a Boursin horseradish crust, caramelized onion, and Port demi for $42.
Il Verdi – Il Verdi puts an Italian spin on Bacon Week with Bacon Littleneck Clams steamed in Peroni beer and natural juices with pancetta, garlic, onion, Calabrian chili, fresh parsley, and plum tomatoes for $14. Or kick off your meal with the Braised Kobe Short Rib served with pancetta Parmesan polenta for $16. Grilled Garlic and Rosemary Veal Chop, served with a roasted tomato pancetta cream, mixed mushrooms and hand-cut Fettuccine for $48.
The Palm Restaurant – Known for their generous portions and special way with proteins, Palm Restaurant will offer Maple Glazed Slab Bacon with house made sauce for $8 during Bacon Week.
Rí Rá Irish Pub – Rí Rá brings on the bacon in two unexpected ways. Try the Pan Seared Scallops on a bed of green apples and chopped salad with bacon, ranch, and tabasco vinaigrette for $15.95.
