Free Summer Fireworks Series
Tropicana’s Free Summer Fireworks Series lights up Atlantic City’s skies with a free, 10-minute spectacular fireworks display every Saturday at 10 p.m. through Sept. 8, plus Wednesday, July 4. The shows, designed by Fireworks by Grucci, are displayed from the beachfront and include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects including Grucci high aerials and grand illuminations. The series is sponsored by Tropicana Atlantic City, A’Dam Good Sports Bar, Casa Taco & Tequila Bar, Chickie’s & Pete’s Crab House and Sports Bar, Firewaters Saloon, Hooters Atlantic City, Perry’s Pizza, and Tony Luke’s.
Tropicana’s Multimedia Light and Sound Show
Tropicana’s Multimedia Light and Sound Shows are back with more immersive experiences featuring sound, lighting and mind-blowing visuals. 6abc Action News has described the show as “Times Square meets Boardwalk”. Featured shows play nightly on the Boardwalk at 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Schedule is subject to change.
Atlantic City offers one of the few, true, free public-access beaches in New Jersey, complete with restroom facilities at intervals along the Boardwalk. That includes the beautiful stretch of sand right in front of Tropicana.
Conveniently located on the ground level of The Chelsea Tower, Oasis Pool offers a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of seating and poolside dining from Gilchrist Restaurant. The pool is open to all hotel guests daily starting June 18. Hours are always weather permitting. And remember to bring your Tropicana room key!
Kevin & Caruso Magique: Grand Illusions
Audience members of all ages will be amazed and entertained by Grand Illusionists Kevin & Caruso in Magique. Staged and directed by Mistinguett, the show features a fast-moving blend of magic, comedy, showgirls, costumes, video backgrounds, stunning special effects and a rocking soundtrack. Tickets for “Magique” are $25 for adults and $10 for children under 16. VIP tickets include an autographed poster and backstage meet-and-greet with the cast before the show. For the movie-loving family, nothing beats the IMAX movie experience. If you’re wondering where to go with the family in town, Tropicana has a number of restaurants that are kid-tested and parent-approved. Carmine’s evokes the comfort of grandma’s house by serving Southern Italian food in family-style portions. At the newly renovated Fiesta Buffet, every family member can fill up on their favorite dishes in a prime spot on the Atlantic City Boardwalk with some pretty fantastic views. The Palm Restaurant is a classic American steak house famous for prime steaks, jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters, traditional Italian dishes and a party atmosphere that’s been going strong for three generations. When you’re ready for a sweet treat, you’re sure to find what you crave at Boardwalk Favorites Ice Cream Shop, LICK, Mrs. Fields and James Saltwater Taffy.
Family Sports Station
Located on the boardwalk, Tropicana’s new Family Sports Station is an arcade and game room that features tons of sports games and prizes for everyone. Play favorite games like basketball, punching bag, air hockey, golf, hunting, and a pitch and bat baseball and bowling games from the 1950’s. Guests can play these skill-based games and win officially licensed NFL and MLB merchandise. The Family Sports Station is open 7 days a week.
Family Fun Station
The ground level of Tropicana’s North Tower is a haven for families to have some fun together. The Family Fun Station is a full-service arcade and game room just down the escalator from the casino. The Station is packed with more than 50 games appealing to kids, teens and even adults. Put your skills to the test on old-school favorites like skee-ball, crane games, air hockey and Frogger along with modern games like Guitar Hero, Dance Revolution, and Dead Heat Street Racing. Feeling nostalgic? Classic games including Bonanza, Pac Man and Space Odyssey will take you back in time.
Fun for the whole family! Tour the beautiful Atlantic City boardwalk by bike! Tropicana Atlantic City is now offering bike rentals with cruisers, tandems, children’s bikes and more. Safety helmets, trailers and baby seats are available for children and adults.
