Ever feel like you need a vacation from your vacation?
You spend so much time planning your trip and preparing to leave, and then it’s typically late nights and early mornings with nonstop activities throughout the entire vacation. Sound familiar? Trying to squeeze one too many activities into one trip can be exhausting. Sometimes it’s nice to travel sans the rigid schedule and simply rest, relax and recharge.
And no matter what your favorite way to relax is, Tropicana offers rejuvenating experiences for everyone. Here are five of our favorites:
1. Hang by the pool
There is nothing more relaxing and stress relieving than floating around in the pool – and at Tropicana, you can choose from four different pools. Unwind with a refreshing drink at our North Tower Outdoor Pool & Blue Parrot Pool Bar, overlooking the beautiful Atlantic City Beach, or catch live entertainment at the Cabana Five Five Bar & Pool Deck, open to ages +21. For those traveling with little ones, make sure you check out our South Tower Indoor Pool or the family-friendly Oasis Pool located in the Chelsea Tower.
2. Spend time at the beach
If you’re not visiting Atlantic City to gamble or see a show, chances are you’re coming to hit the beach for some fun in the sun. And lucky for you, Tropicana offers beach services! You can rent a chair and umbrella from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily (weather permitting). We’ll see you on the beach! Hotel guests: $12/chair, $15/umbrella. Non-hotel guests: $18/chair, $25/umbrella.
3. Book a spa treatment
Plan a relaxing visit to one of the top spas in Atlantic City, bluemercury, right here in the Quarter at Tropicana. Bluemercury’s highly-skilled therapists give oxygen facials, therapeutic couples massage, and a special selection of signature luxury body treatments. View the spa menu here.
4. See a movie
Kick back in a comfortable reclining seat and enjoy a movie in the IMAX Theatre at Tropicana — the only Giant Screen Certified IMAX Theatre in Southern New Jersey and the only movie theatre in Atlantic City. View upcoming showtimes here.
5. Order room service
Take it easy and skip the fancy dinner because what’s better than eating delicious food in the comfort of your bed? Room service offers a full menu to please any appetite, and you can even order bites from some of your favorite restaurants in Tropicana like sushi from Okatshe! Room service is available Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Friday 7 a.m. through Sunday 11 p.m. But if you do prefer to dine out, take your pick from more than 25 restaurants throughout the property.
