The Hook’em & Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament was a great success.
Players donated $200 each for a private meet & greet and a chance to play along with three of the nations top NASCAR Drivers.
Martin Truex Jr., Greg Biffle and Ryan Newman held a 20 minute meet and greet before everyone “started their engines” and competed for $1,000, $2,500 and a $5,000 cash prize.
The tournament started promptly at 6:15p and seven hours later the eight players remaining agreed to each win $1,000 and donate the remaining $500 to the dealers tip pool.
Then the action really heated up as they battled it out for the coveted prize of the “Ultimate Fan Experience” that included a private meet and greet with Martin, 2 Nascar Sprint Cup garage passes, personal pit tour the day of the event, a VIP race experience and two NASCAR sprint cup suite passes.
John Cooley from Mystic Islands took third, Todd Hawk from Virginia placed second and Thomas Fiore from Manahawkin New Jersey beat a field of 119 loyal NASCAR fans and finished first.
