Late, Late night’s top comedian, Craig Ferguson, will perform one show at Tropicana Casino & Resort, July 9 ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (March 29, 2010) – Emmy nominated host, actor, comedian and author, Craig Ferguson is bringing his late night success to Tropicana for what is sure to be a energy-packed show. Tropicana Casino & Resort announced Craig Ferguson will perform in the Tropicana Showroom Friday, July 9. Tickets are currently on sale through Ticketmaster and the Tropicana Box Office. Born in Glasgow, Scotland and now an American citizen, Ferguson had a starring role in The Drew Carey show as Nigel Wick, and now hosts his own late night talk show, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which has set all-time viewer records in the five years it has been on the air. Premiering in March, Ferguson will be seen in How to Train Your Dragon as the Viking, Gobbler. How to Train Your Dragon will appear in Tropicana’s IMAX Theater beginning March 26. Ferguson won the Best New Director award at the Napa Valley Film Festival for I’ll Be There, a film he wrote and starred in. I’ll Be There also received the Audience Award for Best Film at the Aspen, Dallas and Valencia film festivals. Ferguson also wrote the feature films The Big Tease and Saving Grace, and additional film credits include: Niagra Motel, Lenny the Wonder Dog, Prendimi l’anima, Chain of Fools, Born Romantic and The Big Tease. In addition to his on-screen work, Ferguson also wrote the best sellers Between the Bridge and The River, a novel, and America On Purpose, a memoir.
