ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (November 17, 2009) – Twenty-one albums, eight Grammy awards and numerous number one hits later, Natalie Cole is “still unforgettable.” The endlessly talented, Natalie Cole will ring in the New Year at Tropicana Casino & Resort with two memorable performances in the Tropicana Showroom on December 31 and January 1.

Cole released her newest album, Still Unforgettable in September 2009 and has already earned two Grammy’ for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Instrumental Accompanying Vocalist as well as a NAACP Award for Best Jazz Artist. The album is a collection of 14 standards, including a duet with her late father, Nat “King” Cole, “Walkin’ My Baby Home.” A venture in to the great American Songbook, the album, which Cole also produced, also features songs from Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, Sammy Davis Jr. and Peggy Lee.

“The songs on Still Unforgettable go deeper into the treasure chest of the great American songwriting, with lyrics and melodies that touch you and soothe you, appealing to your intellectual side, but most of all, appealing to your heart,” explained Cole.

Cole burst onto the music scene in 1975 capturing the Best New Artist Grammy, and has since continued to astound fans and critics alike with her versatility as an R&B, pop and jazz singer. Number one hits, including “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love),” “Inseparable,” “Our Love,” “I’ve Got Love On My Mind,” “Pink Cadillac” and “Miss You Like Crazy” have kept Cole at the top of the charts for more than 30 years.

Natalie Cole will perform in the Tropicana Showroom on Thursday, December 31 at 10:30 p.m. with tickets priced between $35 and $100, and Friday, January 1 at 9 p.m. with tickets priced between $25 - $75.
