Atlantic City’s 5th Annual Official Holiday Tree Lighting
Once again Tropicana will kick-off the holidays with the Official Tree Lighting on Wednesday, November 11 beginning at 1:30. The event will mark the start of the season with our first snowfall, free musical holiday light show and a special appearance by Santa Claus! Carmine’s family-style restaurant will also have a sampling during the event.

Holiday Spectacular
Tropicana’s 5th Annual Holiday Spectacular is once again the not-to-be-missed holiday event of the season! More than 100 feet of snow will fall throughout the season, more than four miles of twinkling lights will shine during the free holiday musical light show and holiday cheer will be spread throughout The Quarter and Tropicana with carolers, great shopping specials and 28 restaurants and bars to celebrate at.

Holiday Musical Light Show
The free Holiday Musical Lightshow is a not-to-miss experience combining interactive lights with an inspiring array of beloved holiday musical selections from jazz to rock to international favorites. Spectators will be held spellbound, as a rhythmic display of swirling, kaleidoscope patterns and glowing beams of light dance to the sounds of “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “Joy to the World,” “Brazilian Sleigh Bells,” “Greensleeves” and “Nutcracker Suite” for a glittering five minutes and 12 seconds.

Tropicana’s Holiday Musical Light Show will begin immediately after the celebratory tree lighting in Fiesta Plaza in The Quarter at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The Holiday Musical Lightshow will then be presented every hour on the hour, from noon until 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday and noon until midnight Friday - Sunday, throughout the holiday season.

Running of the Santas
Grab your sneakers and Santa suits for Tropicana’s second Running of the Santas event on Saturday, December 12 from 8 p.m. to Midnight. The “Run” will take place at 10 p.m. and will be hosted by WJSE morning show hosts JoJo and Scotty plus the Hooters girls! Enjoy drink and food specials at Firewaters, Hooters, A Dam Good Sports Bar and Planet Rose all night, and a sexy santa contest will be held at A Dam Good Sports Bar between 10 and 11 p.m. Tickets are only $10 if you pre-register at www.runningofthesantas.com.
