ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (September 15, 2009) – A timeless classic, Tropicana invites guest to kick off their Sunday shoes and watch as Ren, Ariel and their friends light up the stage with the memorable hits, including "Let's Here it For the Boy" and "Footloose." Tropicana Casino & Resort announced today that Footloose will play in the Tropicana Showroom October 3 through November 4.

Based on the 1984 hit musical, the high energy musical is a story of a big city kid who moves to a small town and shakes up the status quo. When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, neither Ren nor the town have any idea what they are getting into. A ban on dancing, a love interest between the preachers daughter, Ariel, and Ren, heartache over the loss of a son and father, and a high school prom all converge for a compelling and heartfelt story line that is portrayed sincerely and effortlessly by the cast at Tropicana.

Exhilarating dance sequences, powerful singing and a professional cast combine to recreate the Oscar and Tony award winning performances on the Tropicana stage. Presented by Jersey Shore Entertainment, Footloose will feature a cast of 20 during the one hour and thirty minute production.
