With locations in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and Laughlin, The Comedy Stop has an impeccable track record of showcasing the real breakout artists of stand-up. The original Comedy Stop opened in Atlantic City in 1983 and became a favorite Boardwalk haunt. Relocated to The Quarter in 2004, The Comedy Stop features multiple plasma TVs, 300 additional seats, a kitchen, and a complete selection of wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, and frozen specialty drinks. Performances take place nightly.
The Tropicana Difference: TThe Comedy Stop was voted Best Comedy Club EVERY year since 2009 through 2014 in the “ACWeekly.com Reader’s Choice Nightlife Awards.” Also Bob Kephart, producer and owner of The Comedy Stop, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of producing 30 years of comedy in Atlantic City. No other show holds this prestigious honor.
