Meet the Chef

Destined for His Profession

FIN’s head chef, Demetrios Haronis, is a South Jersey native and graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts. A third-generation restaurant operator, he began helping out in his parents’ restaurant at the age of 10. He has worked in many notable restaurants up and down the New Jersey coast. Chef Demetrios draws upon his Mediterranean heritage in executing his vision for FIN, which is “to offer the freshest seafood available from our own shores, paired with locally-grown produce, and served in a relaxing yet refined atmosphere.”

The Tropicana Difference: Only at FIN can you enjoy Chef Demetrios’ inspired specialty dishes, including “Chef D’s Dancing Shrimp,” “Crabcicles,” and grilled tuna ribs.
