Tropicana’s promotional Poker Tournament Bad Beat Jackpot hit yesterday for only the third time since beginning back in March of 2008. Tropicana donates $2 dollars for every tournament participant towards the jackpot of which totaled $27,256 that was shared when a Straight Flush to the 10 of Spades was cracked by a higher Straight Flush to the King! It was a female dominated event with Donna Menzo from Cedar Grove New Jersey taking down the lion’s share of $12,265 and Helene Burdick from Saint Mary’s PA pocketing $8,177. Not bad for a $40 buy-in tournament!!! The TBBJ was reseeded at $13,910.
